La Rocchetta

On the first hills of Valcalepio, lapped by the river Oglio and Lake Iseo, the La Rocchetta Agricultural Company extends for 18 hectares of magnificently graveled land.

The beauty of the area is enhanced not only by hilly slopes on which grow the best selected clones of Chardonnay, Pinot white and gray, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, also by a 'careful renovation of the ancient cellar of Castel Merlo, which gives charm to the tasting rooms, dating back to the year 1000 making it an ideal place for meetings, events and ceremonies. Since the beginning of the 20th century, thanks to the entrepreneurial vision of the Buelli Family, La Rocchetta has emerged as a modern winery, today one of the most significant and recognized in the Bergamo area.

The quality of its wines, awarded in numerous national and international competitions, stems from a production process that is characterized by a great respect for the territory, thanks to natural cultivation systems, compliance with the cultivation protocols and selection of the grapes of the DOC Valcalepio specification, followed by a diligent care in winemaking and refinement made possible by modern stainless steel pressing and vinification systems, and by a large aging cellar built specifically to maintain suitable conditions of humidity and temperature.

La Rocchetta stands out for the quality of its wines obtained exclusively from grapes of its own vineyards. Wines that for their harmony and freshness are able to arouse emotions and unique pleasures. The elegant bottles and prestigious packs reflect the care and attention that the company puts in the making of its wines.
