Azienda Vinicola Dogliotti

On the threshold of 2000, the Wine House Dogliotti has reached its fourth generation. To go back to the birth of the dynasty, you should go back over 100 years, when in 1870 two brothers, Joseph and Marcello from a quiet and sunny hill of Castiglione Tinella, began making wine with small amounts of black and white grapes. Despite the simple techniques and craft, the "sweet Moscato" brothers, soon became one of their flagship. It was soon known and received diplomas and gold medals at major wine competitions. When  Louis, son of Joseph, took over the company, they moved, in 1929, the then small cellar in Castagnole Lanze, and in a short time, Moscato d'Asti, enclosed in wooden casks, crossed the frontiers and thus become known and appreciated in France and Switzerland. In the meantime succeeded by his sons Louis and Vincent Amelio, that even today, accompanied by their children skillfully lead the eponymous home. Recently, strong experience, gained over many years of hard and tiring work, and a particular attention to important technological innovations, the components of the wine house, bought a modern plant for the crushing of the grapes and vinification of the wines in the vineyards of Coazzolo d 'Asti. And 'thanks to this factory and its high-tech equipment the company Dogliotti can make a rational and modern vinification of the grapes from their own vineyards and those of their suppliers which are the same for over thirty years. Amelio and Vincenzo Dogliottican count on the capable and active collaboration of their five children, whose job, every day, is to personally follow the vinification in every particular phase, applying the directives received from the ancient fathers and addressed to obtain wines of generous harmony and lively personality. The result of so much effort profuse, it is recognized in the highest quality of all the wines from Moscato to Dolcetto, Barbera from the Freisa from Gavi to Nebbiolo, Barolo, Barbaresco and Sparkling Wines. Amelio and Vincenzo Dogliotti want to pass on the ancient philosophy of the family as well as their children also to their many still young and cute grandchildren: quality of the grapes in winemaking technology, control of the wines produced, and only then, they are convinced that they can offer consumers with products of unquestionable quality and value, which are nothing more than just good and natural earth can give you with the flavors. The first certificate of recognition dates back to 1905 when His Majesty the King of Italy 'gives F.lli Dogliotti the Diploma and Medal d' Oro second degree Freisa for wines and Moscato.
