Fresh sweet Italian cherries. Dark red colour with sweet taste. Italy is a worldwide producer of cherries and the most cultivated varieties are:
Bigarreau: cherries whose collection begins in mid-May until the beginning of June;
Duroni: famous cherries of Vignola (Modena); intense red or black, of great size, very sweet, the collection of which is made in the month of June.
Cherries can be used raw, added to fruit salads, in sorbets, ice creams and puddings. They are the protagonists for the preparations of puddings, pies and cakes with candied fruit.
