Located in the heart of Gattinara, Travaglini was established in the 1920s by Clemente Travaglini. In 1958 Arturo Travaglini followed in his father’s footsteps and took over the helm at the winery. The family’s passion and commitment to winemaking has not diminished through the generations. Throughout the years, Travaglini has established itself in Gattinara as the most esteemed producer of traditional, limited-production wines from the Nebbiolo grape. Travaglini wines illustrate the full range of expressions Nebbiolo can achieve.

Defined as "the most dignified and aristocratic Italian wine" by experts in the field, our Gattinara Travaglini undoubtedly represents a jewel in the crown for global oenology. Its unmistakeable characteristics make this wine unique, able to satisfy the most demanding palates and win over connoisseurs of the most elegant and intense sensations with its smoothness and roundness. Gattinara is located in the Alto Piemonte territory at the foot of Monte Rosa, in the far north-east of the region. The "Nebbiolo" variety has chosen this extraordinary territory in which to grow. Obviously there could be no question of putting a great wine into an ordinary bottle. So, as long ago as 1958, Giancarlo Travaglini came up with a work of art: a special, prestigious bottle.
