Pedrotti Spumanti

Since 1901, the Pedrotti family of Nomi, generation after generation, has dedicated its attention and enthusiasm to the production of fine wines. A truly historic name and brand in the Trentino wine industry which appears in the agricultural records for the first time with Emanuele Pedrotti, the company founder and great-grandfather of modern day spumante makers. In 1928, the business was passed down to grandfather Italo, son of Emanuele, an expert winemaker and grapegrower who was already well-known and respected, especially for the principles of high quality which he always pursued. Italo was the tenacious and diligent pioneer, back in “heroic” times, of the sophisticated techniques of modern-day winemaking. The family winemaking business continued slowly but surely under the guidance of Italo's son Paolo, who dedicated his career to winemaking after completing his studies at the school of oenology in S. Michele All'Adige.

The year 2008 marked a new turning point, when Paolo's daughters, Donatella and Chiara, decided to follow in the family footsteps and continue the tradition. They built on past experience to restore effervescence and a youthful entrepreneurial spirit to the historic name of the Pedrotti family.

Testimony to the historically high quality of this company is the natural grotta used by the family for many decades to age Pedrotti Spumanti. The quest for the highest quality and a special reserve of the 1988 vintage, introduced to the market with great parsimony, bear further evidence of a history that lives on.
