Pian delle Querci Brunello di Montalcino is produced in the wine growing area par excellence, home to the Sangiovese variety that becomes Brunello. Its Mediterranean yet predominantly dry climate, with rainfall concentrated into the spring and autumn months, mild temperatures, and frequent sea breezes offers the perfect conditions for healthy plant development and ensures the gradual and full growth of grapes. As nature contributes so decisively to the birth of this great wine, it is then down to the tradition and skill of the vine-dresser to determine the character of our Brunello. The careful selection of grapes and the traditional processing that complements the most modern oenological techniques are at the root of this wine's success. We are proud to highlight the particular attention paid to the environmentally friendly wine growing carried out by the small Pian delle Querci wine company. Featured in the Slow Wine guide, (Grande Vino), Gambero Rosso.
