澳洲黑松露多採用培植方法,在種植橡樹時在樹苗的根部植入孢子,待橡樹長高後自然會在樹幹下1.5米範圍內長出黑松露。澳洲松露全以人手方式挖掘收集,先以受訓練的獵犬找出成長好的松露,再由松露獵人以鏟及手將松露從泥土取出。
