Tartufo Australiano Invernale

Il tartufo Australiano invernale è più o meno arrotondato, la sua forma è modellata dalle pietre nel terreno in cui è cresciuto. La sua colorazione superficiale varia dal marrone scuro al nero. La scorza del tartufo è strutturata con spine  poligonali leggermente sollevate. La polpa è nero corvino con venature bianche alle estremità. Ciò che definisce veramente il tartufo Perigord è il suo aroma inebriante ed il sapore. L'aroma è robusto, profumato con essenze di frutta secca, terra ed aglio. Il sapore è altrettanto ricco, un bouquet di dolce e salato con note di nocciola, menta e funghi di bosco.
